The work of mixed media artist, Carol Moore, is in private collections, both nationally and internationally. Moore holds a BFA and MFA and is currently working on a doctorate, researching the link between creativity, spirituality and healing.

While living in the Middle East, Carol's work was inspired by the women who were forced to veil. Issues of identity and losing one's self to a colonizing power, whether it be self- or other-inflicted, has been the motivation of her 25-year studio practice.

Working with HIV/AIDS impacted youth, Moore's "kids" are creating a seven foot memorial tree honoring those who have passed, and validating those who are taking part in a creation that will be permanently installed at the Batchelor Children's Research Institute, University of Miami School of Medicine.

Moore's current work consists of sculptural installation.
