Roslyn Kirsch was born and educated in New York City at the High School of Music & Art, and Queens and Hunter Colleges. As an exhibiting artist, Roslyn is also an instructor and demonstrator of painting, drawing and printmaking for all ages. She has served as Artist- in-Residence for various Northeastern schools and has conducted workshops for physically and mentally challenged youths in Florida.
Roslyn's award-winning paintings and prints are in many prestigious corporate and private collections throughout Europe and North America. As a resident of Florida, she is currently a faculty member of the Robert & Mary Montgomery Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach and the Boca Raton Museum of Art.

Ms. Kirsch's oil paintings depict the effects of piercing light on a southern beach, the grandeur of a cloud formation, figures intruding upon or becoming part of nature's splendor. Her painting technique brings the abstract to reality as she shows her sensitivity to space, light and atmosphere, the three primary elements of the landscape tradition.

Her insightful response to natural elements often seem to be infused with the spiritual.

Although she has done numerous commissioned portraits, her more recent work has concentrated on the landscapes of Florida and the rest of the eastern coast of the United States.
