Professional painter, Genie Appel, is a Signature Member of the National Acrylic Painter's Association, a member of The National Society of Painters in Casein and Acrylic, and a professional member of The Boca Artist Guild. She has been honored by being listed in The Tate National Museum in London, and was one of only thirty artists nationwide invited by the U.S. Department of the Interiors to paint landscapes in Montana's National Park.

Her work is in corporate collections, including The Prudential Insurance Company, Agent's Umbrella Group, and Interiors by Steven G.   Her art was published in the 2000 edition of Invitation to Prayer. In 2001, she was featured on the cover of City Link Magazine as one of the most unforgettable artists of the year.

Ms. Appel is an art education activist and originator of The Sunday Master's Series at the Coral Springs Museum of Art. She is also the owner and director of the Art Implosion Workshops and co-president of 2+3. Furthermore, Appel is the creator of "Masks: A Workshop in Transformation," and "The Creativity Project," seminars which, like her paintings, delve into artistic, spiritual exploration. Art Source, in Los Angeles, is currently representing her.
